Hosted by the China Trademark Association, the China Trademark Festival (CTF) 2023 was successfully held with the theme of "Trademark Empowers New Development, Brand Leads Dual Circulation" from June 16th to 20th, 2023 in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. As the first China Trademark Festival after the pandemic, the event brought together a total of more than 2,000 representatives from government institutions, enterprises, agencies, and other organizations, which was unprecedented.
On June 17, the Case Selection Forum, one of the major events of CTF organized by the China Trademark Association and Zhongqi Trademark Verification Center, took place at GD Modern International Exhibition Center. Many experts in the industry conducted in-depth discussions and exchanged opinions on the topics such as trademark examination, key points of judicial trials and exemplary cases of trademark, and inspection and supervision of trademark cases at the forum, and released the exemplary trademark cases in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.
Two cases handled by our firm, trademark invalidation cases No. 11047169 “象球牌FUMAKILLA and device” and trademark re-trail case regarding the review on refusal on the trademark “Bioderma” were selected as the exemplary trademark cases in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, respectively.
